Essays/Teacher Rec
???? Probably will be good though

Here is my list:

-Vassar (reach)
-Hamilton (reach)
-Dickinson
-SUNY Geneseo
-Muhlenberg
-Skidmore
-Bucknell

*I think I'm a first generation college student (my mom went to college for less than a semester because she was pregnant)
* Need Fin Aid because I have 4 siblings and $75,000 Income

Are my SAT Goals doable?

as well.....what are my chances at those schools?

Yes, do 20 practice tests and you will increase about 150-200 points

I think you can get into all those schools. Having such a high GPA will make up for your below average SATs(with respect to the schools).

even with my abysmal grades in AP Chem and PreCalc BC ?

What's the grading scale? For example..in my school, 94 is an A..
Does ur school only use percentages?

You have a chance at all those schools (especially since Vassar doesn't even look at SAT scores).

I would say that you should look into public universities...because except for SUNY, you won't get a very substantial scholarship (if any).

yea we grade out of 100 with a weighting of 1.1 for honors/AP and a weighting of 1.05 for accelerated math.

precalc and calc classes are weighted 1.1 though!

no letter grades

any other opinions?

WOOO VASSAR!!! Nice choice there :-). Ratings: unlikely reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

-Vassar... REACH.
-Hamilton... REACH.
-Dickinson... SEMI-REACH. But if you do EA non-binding (highly recommended as it gets pretty selective by RD time) I'd say its a GOOD FIT.
-SUNY Geneseo... GOOD FIT.
-Muhlenberg... LIKELY.
-Skidmore... GOOD FIT.
-Bucknell... SEMI-REACH.

littleatheist you are the best!

Would I have a better chance at Hamilton or Vassar if i applied Early Decision to them or will my mediocre SAT scores put me at the bottom of the ED applicant pool?

How about

-Middlebury
-Conn Coll
-Wesleyan
-Richmond
-Lafayette

Ratings: high reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

-Middlebury... HIGH REACH.
-Conn Coll... REACH.
-Wesleyan... REACH.
-Richmond... GOOD FIT.
-Lafayette... SEMI-REACH.

-Bates
-Colby
-George Washington
-Colgate
