Chances for a junior :)

Okay, so I'm only a junior, but CMC is definately one of the schools I'm seriously considering and I would like to know if it's a good "match" as well as a good "fit".

School Statistics- Sends around 3-5% to top colleges each year.
GPA: 4.32/4.5 (We have a weird grading system.)
Rank: 2/280 (But it's not reported to colleges.)
Courseload: Hardest Possible. 15+ APs by senior year.

Collegeboard- (so far)
Sophomore PSAT- 221 (80M, 75CR, 66W)
Junior PSAT(predicted)- 230-238
SAT IIs- 800Math2, 760Biology
AP- Calculus BC (5), Statistics (5), Psychology (5)

Passions-
Piano: I've been playing for over eleven years, and compete at the state and regional level. I've performed at several notable venues, and was accepted to BU's Tanglewood Institute last summer but did not attend.

Debate/Politics/Law: I founded my school's Forensics Team, and am currently the VP of JSA. I also intern at a law office.

School/Community: I am a student representative to the Board of Education and was the freshman class president. I'm also a "Link Crew Leader".

Chinese: I'm a "high-scorer" on the HSK (similar to the TOEFL), and volunteer 4 hours a week teaching Chinese to adopted children.

Activism: I'm currently the secretary of my chapter of Interact and the historian for the Environmental club. I'm also active in Amnesty International.

Tennis: JV Captain, Varsity next year. Nothing special here, just something I truly enjoy.

Trophies & other pretty-sounding stuff-
State Writing Contest- First Place for Nonfiction Prose
Published in Various Anthologies

Small National Math Contest- First Place
AIME 5 Freshman Year (did not take Sophomore Year)
CTY-JHU National Mathematics Award- Scored >700 on SAT-M before turning 13

Some Science Awards including JETS TEAMS and Science Olympiad.

Summer <3-
I've done a lot of traveling in the past, but programs that I have attended include CTY and Summer Science Program (and some piano camps).

assuming SAT scores match PSAT scores, no reason you shouldnt get in unless you write a bad essay. just to be extra safe look into getting some more leadership positions locked up, but i think youre okay there anyway. good luck

bump :) any other opinions?

Enjoy life, you're only a teenager once. 15 AP's is a little excessive, don't you think? Colleges like to see you challenge yourself but I don't think they want you to kill yourself.

Well my school offers quite and few, and those are all the "challenging" courses at school. In reality, most of the "smart kids" (top 15%-ish) will graduate with 8+ APs.
