you're very welcome and happy holidays everyone

Either way, cross UPenn off your list. GPA are low, SATs are low, and your ECs are nothing special.

lol .. this thread is amusing.

if your score is a 2080, you have a chance at all of those schools (Penn will be tough, though). Are you a Texas resident? If not, the 10% rule doesn't apply. UT Austin admissions are REALLY competitive, out of 5 colleges I applied to, they were the only one to reject me (I was accepted to Northwestern, USC, UNC Chapel Hill OOS and UW Madison). So yeah, UT Austin isn't a safety for anyone, but you have a good shot.

one other thing (not directed at anyone in particular):

Wow a Mexican thinking they can get into UPenn with a 1440/2400 on the SAT. Affirmative action doesn't stretch that far. I did read where you said that you actually had a 2080 but your friend was the one with the 1440. Something is fishy with this thread and I think it's all BS. You could have mentioned you were posting for a friend in the first place.

no, my friend lives in texas and is like 10.25 percent, so the 10 percent rule is literally one percent out of her reach. what do you think her chances are at UT?

haha ok...

anyways, what do yall think UT austin will do since my friend is like 10.25 percent and there's the 10 percent rule?

gibe her a break will ya, she still needs to support her kid

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LOLLERSKATES!!!111
