You have a chance at all of these schools but as a white male from California, your rank is low for the ivies. Unless your school sends many unhooked candidates to ivies, successful applicants statistically are at the very top of their classes. Your ECs, as presented here, don't help.

yeah we get about 15 kids into the top schools
oh and the rank is just an estimate

bump...............................

bump.................................

wow, only one person responded. what gives?

You've got the GPA, the rank, and the SAT scores you need to get in... the biggest issue for you will probably be "how many other white males from California will apply to _______?" I'd say you'll get into at least one of your semi-reaches/reaches, if not more than that. One thing about your application that could potentially be a weak spot is your ECs. However, if you make sure that your passion for what you do do comes across through your application, those are nothing to worry about (they just aren't as impressive as the other aspects of your application).

Chances on a scale of: high reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

Stanford University... REACH.
Williams College... SEMI-REACH.
Columbia University... REACH.
Dartmouth College... SEMI-REACH.
UC Berkeley... GOOD FIT.

thanks for replying. im also thinking about cornell, penn, and UChicago.

Stanford - fit or semi-reach, since you're in state
Williams - semi-reach
Columbia - reach
Dartmouth - semi-reach
UC Berkeley - should be easy, since you're in state and have great scores
Cornell - reach
U Penn - reach (or semi-reach if ED)

your main problem is your ECs are all over the place: french club, sciences, debate? what exactly is your "thing"? what do you want to major in? concentrate on stuff in that... having a bunch of random clubs/activities looks like you're just trying to fill up your EC list
