Right, well this is just your typical chances post. Looking to find out what you guys think my chances are at getting into the following schools for physics: Cornell, Princeton, Tufts, Penn State, Lehigh, Bucknell, Villanova, Binghamton

Stats:
SAT: 1470 (770 verbal 700 math)
SAT II: 750 iic, 730 physics, 710 bio, 700 writing
GPA: unweighted 3.8, weighted 4.2 (4.0 scale)
AP's taken: physics, u.s. history, calc ab, economics, government, english, chemistry
Essay and Recs will be good (this is not baseless, have had AP eng teacher and multiple other critiques on my essay)

E.C.'s:
-Volunteer Internship at Cooper Union; worked with 2 graduate mechanical engineers on projects for Con Edison
-National Merit Commended Scholar
-Art Honor Society (President)
-International Society of Poets; Publication and Editor's Choice
-Olympics of the Visual Arts; 2nd place finish in group drawing competition (statewide)
-Appearence in C.W. Post Art Exhibit
-2 years work experience at Staples ~20 hours/week
-News Editor for Edge Network (edgenetwork.org)
-Various volunteer activities; breast cancer walks, multiple sclerosis walks, senior citizen luncheons, etc.
-random other things; NHS, principal's list 4 years, art department award

those math test scores are a little low, if you could bump those up then your chances would definetley get better. If you could get your physics teacher to write you a good rec and you are able to show your passion for the school and physics in your essays and interviews then that would help too.

MAJOR REACH
Princeton

NOT QUITE AS BAD REACHES
U Penn
Cornell

MATCHES
Tufts (though this may be a bit tougher than the other matches)
Bucknell
Lehigh (I'd be surprised if you didnt get in here)

SAFETIES
Villanova

and I dont know what the hell Binghamton is.....

Hahaha, thanks guys. binghamton -> SUNY binghamton (the school where NY ivy rejects go :P ). And i figured my 750 iic could outweigh the sat i math a bit. I get 800's on practice tests all the time, but i always make retarded mistakes on the test. A 700 is ~4 questions wrong or 3 wrong and 2 blank or something. Stupid mistakes...they're probably somewhat aware? haha. I really don't think I'll take it again. But thanks for the candid reply :)
THe cookies are chewy chocolate chip with m&m's. (.',) there you go. hahahhaha what a loser i am.

So you think I should take it again? The chances that my math will go up is probably 50/50 as I cant seem to stop making stupid errors and the chances that verbal will go down is great. Knowing this, would you still recommend taking it again?
