<p>You apply to MIT, not to a major.</p>

<p>Also, you’ll need to take a math and a science SAT subject test.</p>

<p>MIT doesn’t admit by major, and you don’t declare your major in freshman year.</p>

<p>You are a good candidate for MIT and should apply. MIT appreciates a well rounded class as much as the next school and has a strong poli sci program. </p>

<p>Despite what some people say, you don’t have to love math and science. You just have to tolerate it your freshman year to get through the institute requirements. </p>
