Chances for a rejected student

<p>Hey everyone- I was rejected elsewhere for ED… I love Brown and am applying there for RD, but I know it is very, very competitive. what do you guys think my chances are?</p>

<p>Asian Female</p>

<p>GPA is 3.74 unweighted, 4.44 weighted at a very competitive suburban school in Massachusetts</p>

<p>SAT I- 770 v 700 m, SAT II- 800 writing, 700 history, 670 math
APs- all 5’s so far</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars-
Varsity Policy Debate (spend many, MANY hours doing this, debate nationally almost every weekend)

Summers spent at UMich and Dartmouth for debate camp (4 weeks long)</p>

AP Scholar Award, National Merit Commendation, At least 15 debate awards, First place at regional basketball tournaments, and two gold medals for the MICCA Music Competition</p>

<p>I definitely think that you should get into Brown. Your GPA is a bit low, but everything else is very good. your stats are enviable. btw, what schools rejected you?</p>

<p>hey, thanks! columbia rejected me. i regret not applying to Brown early instead- i love it just as much, but i thought Brown had a history of not accepting many people from my school. apparently not true for this year, they accepted THREE of my classmates early. meh. anyway thanks again.</p>
