I have a ~3.85 weighted GPA
and i think around 3.6-3.7 unweighted GPA
Class Rank: top 10%

I will have 6 total AP classes after I am done with my senior year

I am looking into having a bilogy major, hoping to become a doctor

I didn't do so well on my SATs however, i got a 1710 570CR 640 M 500 W
on my SATIIs i got a 660 for US History

I am trying to get into a UC because most are excellent in biology, but I'm worried that I might have to settle for CSUs.

Could you guys please list some of schools that would be safes, reaches, and matches

My ECs are OK, I have a part time job, and volunteerthrough a club called FBLA

I am an American Indian (ASIA) if that means anything

Also I have another question, does it hurt my chances of getting into med school if I end up going to a CSU?

Once again, I am trying to get into any UC
Here are some of my top choices:
UCSB
UCSC
UCD
UCI
UCR

and if you could list some CSUs that are good for a bilogy major it would also be apprieciated

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

UCI:match
UCSC:match
UCR:match

Is there a reason you don't take the SATI one more time? It can't hurt, and you just might bring up your score.
You would not be American Indian by UC standards, but Asian American. Unfortunately, this won't help you.
Go to the UC website to figure out if you meet the basic eligibilty requirements. They have a chart where you can total your SATs and match it up to your required gpa for those test scores, and see if you are qualified for admittance to the university as a whole.( I think you are, but you should look it up yourself. ) After that, your essays and what they call "comprehensive review" will determine which of the schools will admit you. This is a subjective area, and it can be hard to predict with accuracy.

thanks for the replies, I will probably take the SAT once again, and one more SATII.

I am glad to hear that it is possible for me to get into UCSB because that is my top choice.

If you guys wouldn't mind do you know any CSUs that are good in biology in case i dont go into any UCs?

Check out San Diego, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo.
