Insight would be appreciated. How much does it help if I apply ED vs regular

Your stats look good. On paper, ED has advantages, the major one being that the acceptance rate hovers around 30% (last year RD was around 17-18%). However, it is well known that many athletes apply via an ED option. This obviously elevates the acceptance rate significantly. So, if your not going to play a sport, you can't really tell. Applying ED does show that you are serious and if you write a passionate, non-cliche essay, your golden.

Looks great! Of course, there are always other factors outside of your control that can play a role in admissions, but you look like a strong applicant, despite the chanciness of selective college admissions. :) Good luck!

South Carolina to Maine, huh? Pretty big change!
