So how do my chances of getting accepted look? Does my graduating early have any affect on my admissions? Thank youu !

My d. entered after what would have been her sophomore year. Homeschooled to boot. I think you look like a very strong candidate, and they will understand your household circumstances.

Good shot.

NHS is for seniors I thought?

At my high school you could join NHS as a sophomore I think.

you can actually get inducted when you are a junior at my school.

thank you everyone for your replies (:

Whoa, you are a very strong candidate. Keep us posted on your admissions. I tried applying to colleges as a junior and remembered how STRESSFULL it was! It didn't work out for me, but now I couldn't be more happy with my decision to wait it out. Plus, your essay sounds fabulous.

If you can, definitely visit BOTH MoHo and Smith. They seem very similar, but have very different feels. I started off as a prospective Smithie, but ended up falling in love with MoHo.

I just wanted to chime in to say that I'm also applying to Smith as a junior, and my essay is about being (well, looking) white and living with my Korean grandparents.

ahh oh my goodness anechkakith!

If we both get accepted to Smith, we are definitely going to have to bond over our Korean (ish)/American families (:
And we'll both be juniors. wooot

Thank You all for your replies.
I sent in my application a few weeks ago but still haven't received my bannerweb log in and such business.
hopefully it will come soon :/

okay so I got my December act scoress: 31 composite (30E, 32M, 33R, 27S, 12W)

do you guys think I should go ahead and send it in?
the scores aren't that great so idk what I should do :/

thank you (:

I don't know a lot about ACT scores (I took the SATs back when the top score was a 1600) but I thought 31 was a good composite score? Smith has deemphasized test scores to the point where they're not required, so it's really up to you, but if 31 is pretty good I'd send it in.

Asked my sister and she suggested you look to see if Smith has an average ACT score listed and see where your score is in comparison.

The Princeton Review says Smith's middle 50% ACT Composite is 25-30, so I'd feel comfortable sending in a 31.
