Chances for a student with an unusual background

I'm a 24 year old student who decided, albeit a tad late, to apply as a transfer student to study French and Italian. However, I'm not sure if I'm qualified enough to have at least a decent chance. I would really appreciate opinions/reality checks regarding my situation. :)

High School
Although I'm a US citizen, I've lived my entire life in Argentina and attended secondary school there. Obviously, the system is different over there so I did not take any standardized tests. I was also below average in class because I barely attended classes, and when I did, I read my own books (I didn't like their program).

GPA: 6.00/10.00 (the lowest grade with which you can graduate)
SAT: N/A
ACT: N/A

College:
I went to film school in Argentina, and after a couple of years I decided that I needed a change, so I came to California, where I attended community college and got an Associates Degree in Humanities as well as completing the IGETC. I originally intended to go to uni in the UK, but I got a (not surprising) rejection from my top choices, Oxford and St. Andrews, and I'm still waiting for decisions from UCL and KCL. I did get an offer from Edinburgh so far. I was convinced that I'd go there until I started having doubts recently, and I'm not sure I'd still want to go to the UK if it's not London. So, I decided to apply as a transfer in the US as well (I know, not smart).

GPA: 4.0
ECs: to be honest, I didn't do many extracurricular activities because the UK universities I applied to don't really care about them as much. So, these are the only things I can think of as "ECs". Please do let me know if some of them are not:

-I speak 5 languages.
-I'm teaching myself Latin.
-Studied a semester abroad in Oxford.
-Worked as an interpreter and interviewer for a popular Korean TV show (although it was, due to the nature of the show, one episode only).
-I travel a lot? :D
-Things I'm not sure about: cello, bass, photography.

Hooks: first generation student to attend college.

I was thinking of applying to Brown, Cornell, Columbia School of General Studies, Dartmouth, and NYU. I'm aware that it's an ambitious plan and my chances are very very slim, especially having such low secondary school grades and no SATs to back it up, but I was still wondering if it would be worth applying, or if I'm just wasting my time. What do you think?

Thanks!
