What are my chances of getting into OSU and their School of Engineering?

Also, if you’re familiar with it, what are my chances of being able to receive the Morrill Scholars Programs scholarship??

I’d guess you have a fair chance, more than likely though you’ll be accepted to a satellite branch or have to attend main campus during the summer 2014. Keep in mind that first you are accepted into pre-engineering, then before sophomore year you have to declare a specific engineering field. I believe the average student accepted for biomedical engineering has a 3.5 average and only about 75 applicants are accepted. So even though you may get into OSU, you’ll have to do well your first year to get into BME.

[Biomedical Engineering Major Program | Biomedical Engineering](Biomedical Engineering Major Program | Biomedical Engineering)

Oh, yes, I understand that. I just want to know what my chances are of being accepted to OSU as an incoming freshman, main campus only

Why would I have to attend during the summer?

If a student doesn’t meet the acceptance criteria they are offered acceptance to a satellite campus or often times allowed to start in the summer on the main campus instead. Not sure how they decide which option to offer to a prospective student as I’ve known kids who have taken the summer option, and others who were just offered the option of a satellite campus.

You’ll get in easily.
