Do you have any idea on your son's class rank? I believe a 92% is very good at most schools, but it is just hard to rate since I don't know that particular school. Even an estimate would be helpful.

Overall, I think your son will be close but I am a bit worried about his test scores. If he has time to re-take the ACT and SAT I think it would be worth his time to try.

Good luck!

One thing you may want to try -

If you are afraid that the business school won't accept him, and are much more sure about his getting accepted in say, Arts and Letters, have him apply there. I started science and switched to Finance, and I was amazed to find that there is no separate application between schools like I know there is at UT and some other business programs. He won't be taking any business classes until his sophomore year anyway, and with their #3 ranking they are probably going to be getting way more applications for that than their other programs which are not nearly as competitive.

I do think, however, that if his new SAT scores are a tad higher and if he writes a good essay he would have a very good shot at the business school. My 2c :)

well seeing as notre dame doesnt take freshmen into the business school, i'd say no chance at all :) All freshmen go through the First Year of Studies and then can apply to Mendoza for sophmore year.

That too :D
