Chances for admission? I will chance back, just leave a link

Hey everybody, I was wondering if someone could take a look at my stats for applying at Brown, and if it would be worth applying early admission, your input would be fantastic!

GPA: 4.0
Weighted GPA: 4.45
SAT: 720 reading, 750 math, 750 writing
Class Rank: 3% out of ~160 students
AP Exams: Calc AB, Physics B, Physics C Mechanics, Biology, Euro History, US History, Psych, all 5’s

ECs: Freshman Class Officers, Junior Class Officers, 4 year varsity xc and tennis, bowling sophomore year, won Economics Challenge States and took 4th in the nation, Game Theory Club for four years, musical for four years, marching and jazz bands for 4 years, choir for 3 years. Trumpet section leader junior and senior years, trumpet squad leader sophomore year

Awards: National Merit Semifinalist, Choir Outstanding Freshman, several band and school awards

Also, I’ve taken several of my AP courses as independent studies, (AP Psych and AP Physics C), and am planning on asking these teachers for letters of recommendation, which I’m sure will be excellent. My guidance counselor is my coach and we’ve known each other for quite some time, so I’m assuming that that letter will be great as well. I’ve also taken several courses at a local university, including calc 2, a higher phsyics class, and a chem course.

I stop in this thread simply to make a point about the absurdity of chances threads. It’s one thing to purport to think that strangers on the Internet are better-suited to judge your chances of admission than you are; that’s silly, but fine, I suppose I can buy it. But to promise to ‘chance back’? How does that make any sense? If the whole point is to seek information from those who know more than you, then what could you possibly have to offer them? None of this makes any sense.

Anyway, carry on.
