I have been in love with Clemson my entire life. I have been in communication with them since I started high school. That said, this is the most important month of my life coming up.

I applied August 28th, but I just amended my application to include my first choice majors: Chemical Engineering and Biology
I have a 90 UW GPA out of 100, 94 W
Every single core class I have taken has been the most advanced that was available. My electives were mostly academic minus certain graduation requirements.
I am ranked in about the top 12% of my class, 55 out of about 470 students.
I am dual enrolled at a local college for my senior year. took 4 ap classes in first three years.
Bunch of ECs like newspaper, beta club, etc.
I listed some family members that went to Clemson (cousins) but when asked for legacy I just had one name.
I am OOS (GA)
ACT: 29
SAT: 1270/1890 (M:630, CR:640, W:620)

what are my admission chances? what about scholarship chances? what kind of fin aid do they give? thanks for any feedback!

You have an excellent chance of getting in!

As for scholarships, you probably won’t get a lot of money if any at all. Clemson would prefer that you be ranked in the top 10% of your HS class to get a scholarship and you are just outside of that

my guidance counselor just updated my transcript yesterday, because I made all A’s last semester, my W GPA out of 100 is a 95, and I am now ranked 34/484. That means I’m in the top 7% of my class now. I’ve been working to get in the top 10% for two years now, and I know the weight Clemson puts into that. I know it’s late, but i attached a copy of the unofficial transcript through email while explaining my situation. I realize that at this point the admission decision is probably made, but do you think they might consider it for scholarships if I were accepted, or is that over too? this is my last chance, and I really need the money.

It’s still January so if they have any money left they would still consider you. Call them, email them, send in an official transcript maybe and see if there’s anything they can do for you
