GOOD LUCK to everybody that is applying
Do I have a chance for BME?
It seems that I look more like an aero/mech eng. canditate, but BU is good for med. and I think I can make contributions to the BME field as well after all, it is still engineering.

bump 24 views!?!

well, I think you are a really good engineering candidate. I have also applied to College of Engineering, but you are very likely to get in. good luck to both of us!

Thank you for the chance

Good Luck to both of us!

HI,
I am new to CC. Do you or anyone else know if you can apply ED on the same day
you find out from another school. To be specific, I am finding out Tuesday the 15th
if I got into BU ED if not can I apply ED and make it for a 15th of December deadline?

You are totally in. I am a biomedical engineer and I doubt half the applicants can even compare to your stats provided. Even a GPA around 2.5 wouldn’t take anything away from that.

Money I think will be fairly good for you - probably a lot of scholarships and grants. Close if not a full ride.

Thank you,

I am hoping to get into the garunteed med program after sophomore year for engineers,

I think it was called MMEDIC or something similar.

How is the Biomed engr. program, does reasoning cut it, or is it a lot of work anyhow?

as you can see, I am a bit allergic to work.

But I am sure that this will change once I am out of the hole that I am in, in high school and start taking classes that interest me.

so did you get in??

Its called ENGMedic (which also overlaps with MMEDIC) and I have lots of friends who want to get in there. It is very tough to get into and the amount of people allowed to pursue this path is usually only a handful out of a huge amount of people.

Yes, biomedical engineering is hard, but it doesn’t really start for you until junior year. You see, basically your schedule is VERY similiar to that of the other engineering curriculum the first couple of semesters. This allots for easy switching if you choose not to pursue that path.

In the end - ANYTHING with engineering in it is no easy path. It requires a lot of dedication, commitment, and most importantly hard work. I highly doubt you will struggle though, since your scores are so high.

id say youre fine
