Chances for Admittance to George Washington University as a transfer student

Hi everyone,

I am applying to transfer to George Washington University for the Spring of 2012, with a college GPA of 3.929 from a local state university. I do not need to submit high school or SAT data because I have already accumulated enough credits.

my extracurriculars include interning for a member from the House of Representatives, being a community organizer for a local NGO, working full time for another NGO last summer, participating in my Model United Nations team on campus and participating in an intensive summer program which focuses on immersion into the Arabic language and culture.

My essays were good, in my own estimation. I explained how the opportunities provided at GWU would allow me to become a significant agent for positive change on a global scale.

I am applying as an International Affairs: International Development major.

Does anyone think that I would have a problem getting in?

everything sounds good to me. good luck

Vegannn I’m curious to know if you’ve been accepted to GW for Spring semester? I plan on transferring to GW for Fall 2012 and have similar GPA/extra curriculars as you and am wondering if I could get in.

I second lostpatriots inquiry. I too am planning to transfer to gw for fall 2012. Lostpatriot we are competiing for the same slot. AH!!!
