Here are my stats
African-American female
GPA- 4.608 W 3.93 UW
SAT: 2150
plan to take SAT II's for MATH II and BIO E/M
Honors: Ventures Scholar, AP Scholar, Student of the Week, Respectful Ram, Principal's Honor Roll, National Honor Roll, expected National Achievement award, expect to graduate with Summa (highest honor >4.2 GPA W)
Volunteer: South Seminole Hospital, American Red Cross, Intern Cardio Clinic (Uncle's)</p>

<p>I would recommend looking for scholarship opportunities, be it from Emory or any outside organization (like corporate scholarships,etc). <p>Do you only have 2 years of a foreign language? I don't know what Emory's requirements/recommendations are, but this could be a problem for the very selective schools which look for 3 or even 4 years of a language.</p>

<p>Hey! well the black brain bowl focuses on history based questions pertaining to famous African Americans and civil rights leaders, whereas the brain bowl covers a variety of subjects: science, literature, pop.culture, music, math, grammar, foreign languages, HISTORY and some art!</p>
