<p>Your GPA is concerning but your SAT score is great. I think you have a solid chance at UCR, its pretty safe. UCI is a match, maybe a mild reach. UC Davis is a mild reach. UCSD is a reach, most people who get accepted to UCSD have 3.7 or 3.8 GPAs. Georgia tech, mild to moderate reach. George Washington, reach. Cornell, reach but your’re a legacy so you might have a good shot. I am not familiar with Colorado School of Mines or CalStates, so I’m not going to comment on that. But honestly, talk to some admissions counselors, do good on those SAT II subject tests, write a stellar essay and get some glowing recommendations. You’ll be fine. Overall, I think you have a shot at most of these universities. You have a great SAT score and you have that in state advantage for all the California schools. Good luck.</p>
