<p>Hello. I am a rising senior currently going to a California Distinguished School. I am also pursuing a IB diploma. I am 1st Generation Indian and want to be a neurosurgeon, which would be Health Science Major, I think. So Please Chance me for all UC's and if possible, then University of Michigan.

<p>I took all Ib and Ap classes which is around 8 or 9 altogether.</p>

<p>I don't which extracurriculars to use for you guys to chance me, so Im putting most of them.
300+ volunteer hours. including a local hospital and a prestigious one in the nation.
This includes places such as American Cancer Society, American Heart Association. American Lung Association. I also went to help poor people in India but not through Peace Corps

Reading to kids and peer tutoring and I might do Academic Decathlon next year. I had to move at the beginning of junior year but continued with ib, so i don't know how this will affect my chances. I am also trying to get a Presidential Service Award and I also worked as a volunteer at the school library. I might do some college courses at a UC over summer or a CSU. My other awards are art awards.</p>

<p>Could I get into top Uc’s. I know someone with perfect grades and near perfect sat who got to ucsd only. I don’t know if she applied to other places but went to ucsd. My record is not really as good as possible. I want to be a neurosurgeon which must be competitive. That’s why I’m worried cuz I don’t stack up against her and many others at my school. I just need one uc. Any is fine. Thank you.</p>

<p>You’ve got a great shot at UCLA and Berkeley. I would honestly be surprised if you didn’t get into the others. From what I’ve seen, Berkeley likes to see passion, and your passion is very prominent from your ECs. Best of luck!</p>
