Chances for all UCs?

Sorry, I didn’t see this thread and I posted individual “chances” posts in UCSB and UCSC forum, and I don’t think I can delete the posts.

Just wondering if anyone can give me their opinions on whether I can get in to the UCs with these stats:

OUT of State

UC GPA Grades 9-11 : 3.5
UC GPA Grades 10-11: 3.5

SAT I: 650CR/690W/750M
SAT II: 750 Math IIc, 700 Spanish
PSAT: 98th Percentile (212) National Merit Commended Scholar(Not semifinalist)

ECs: volunteer at hopelink grades 10-12, volunteer at orphanage in India in summer of soph year, model UN grades 10-12, basketball team grades 10-12, captain of bball team grades 11-12, Key Club grades 11-12, other less notable ECs…

Good Essay
Good Recs

Any input would be appreciated!

BTW, that GPA is weighted in the UC format (3.5)

UCLA/UCB- reach
ucsd- slight reach
uci/ucd/ucsb/ucsc- match
UCM/UCR- safety/match

UC's don't take recs.
OOS:
Cal/UCLA- reach
UCSD- reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB- slight reach
UCM/UCR/UCSC-match

the test scores and ec's are good enough for the top schools, but your 3.5 gpa really brings it down.

your chances are pretty much the above.

Remember the topic starter is OOS, which forces him to be even more competitive with other stduents to get into the schools.

Thanks for the replies!

i was oos with only a slightly higher sat score
a bit higher gpa...

didnt get into cal or la
so now im at ucsd,

im not sure if that helps, but if i were you (given the knowledge of my situation), id gun for sd

Out Of State:

UC Berkeley/UCLA: Large Reach
UCSD: Large Reach/Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Slight Reach
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Match/Safe Match

I would gun for a mid-tier uc, such as irvine, satnta barbara and davis. i think berkeley, la, sd would be a large reach out of state.
