I am an intended History major and literature minor...my grades freshman year were ok-ish but skyrocketed soph. year and this year i have straight A's...all Honors/AP in all possible classes
I like the liberal arts feel of trinity and preppiness and that its not out in the rural areas like many new england LACs
What are my chances for trinity?

I think you have a good shot. I was accepted with lower stats than you but I have a ton of EC's. Good luck.

Well it would be fair to say that you are well qualified for Trinity, infact maybe overqualified! I believe that's a key consideration for a popular ivy safety college like Trinity. You have to go out of your way to make the college feel that you really want to go there. Mark my words, if you apply ED to Trinity you are almost certainly in methinks.

I don't think I would apply to Trinity ED, but I plan on visiting and having an on-campus interview...would that signify interest? it really is a school that I'm interested in, but there's others too

Sure, that would help. I suggest you make it clear in no uncertain terms that Trinity is indeed amongst your top choices while you are at it.
