Hey guys! So, I'm really scared that the colleges I am applying to won't accept me due to my poor gpa.
I would really appreciate it if you would chance me at these schools but first:
Background about me:
Asian girl at a really competitive school (Ranked 7th in New Jersey and New Jersey apparently is 1st)
Because of how competitive our school is, my GPA is a 3.4 unweighted and 4.07/4.8 weighted.
It's also low because I took a ton of AP and honors classes.(4 honors freshman year, 5 honors sophomore year, 2 AP junior year, 3 honors junior year, 5 AP senior year)
I know I can get As and A- 1st marking period of senior year so I decided to apply for Regular to most schools.
ACT Composite Score: 32
I'll take Math II C and Chem in November.
Extra Curriculars/jobs:
Waitress at restaurant for 4 years
Teens Against Cancer Club 4 years
Project Patterson 3 years
Academic Decathlon 3 years
Math League 3 years
Newspaper Club 3 years
Varsity Golf 3 years
I'm applying as undecided but pre-dental track.
Schools:
New York University
Northeastern
Boston College
UCLA
Georgetown
Carnegie Mellon
Boston University
Rutgers
Lehigh
Penn State
Columbia University

Columbia: High reach, NYU: low reach except for Stern (harder to get in), UCLA: reach (apparently they place a heavy emphasis upon GPA and test scores), Georgetown: high match, Carnegie Mellon: high match, and the rest should be around high match, match or even safety (not sure about the lower ranking school sorry)
