Chances for an Average Student

I am an out of state student applying to schools in Massachusetts: UMass Boston and UMass Amherst.

GPA:~3.1
SAT:
CR-630
M-470
W-570
I have had an upward trend between junior year and senior year.
As a senior I am taking AP Econ, AP gov, and AP Lit so i'm hoping they see me trying harder now that I am showing more initiative.
-Four years Wind Ensemble(Principal Trombone)
-Various Jazz solo awards/Most Outstanding Overall Freshman
-Two years Speech and Debate
- National Forensic League Member
-Various Clubs
- Young Democrats
- American Cancer Society
- Psychology Club
-One year Freshman Baseball(ruined my knees)
-Also, one year of theater, Participated in Children's Theater Festival.

Also, I have a full year of Part time Work experience(20-25 hours/week)

My essay is on how music and the people around have shaped me into who I am today.

Also, with my part time job, I buy my own food and help pay the bills living with my dad. (work is pretty shi**y for him right now) Should i mention this somewhere?

So what are my chances?

-Daniel

SAT/ACT Scores?

AHH totally forgot.

CR:630
M:470..i know, i know...
W:570

Also, I know I only listed two schools there, so if there are any other schools in Mass. that i fit the profile for, let me know. I know community college is an option and from there, transferring. But for now, I am just trying to see where I could get into now!
Thanks

bump!

I would really appreciate a few opinions!

Lol, you're almost my clone, except I have a slightly higher GPA (3.3) and you have more extracurriculars. Good to see that there's at least a few average students around on CC
