Chances for an extremely average girl.

Hola, I'm new.
Posting this is rather embarrassing, my stats are far below par compared to most of the users here, but I figured I'd see my chances regardless.
I'm not sure if any of you can help me considering I'm looking at mostly art schools, but if you could give it a shot, I'd love you.

Schools
Emerson College
Art Institutes of Boston, San Francisco, and San Diego
Hampshire College
Massachusetts College of Art
Bard College
(again, if you're not sure because most are art schools, that's understandable, but even a guess would be appreciated. Also, if anyone wants to suggest a school, I'd be grateful.) :D

Also, portfolio-wise, I have a website (fetusgirl.com, not quite done yet), I have a few movies I've created (one of which won a state-wide Civility competition). I'm also in Who's Who and National Scholars, but I don't know if that means anything.

So, what do you think? :/

why is your name fetus? i'm sorry...i digress.

your scores and GPA are not awful by any means. I don't know much a/b art schools, as you said, so I'll just go by average incoming class.

Emerson: low reach
Art Institutes: matches
Hampshire: reach
Mass College of Art: match
Bard: reach

Yeah...that's basically based on entering test scores compared to acceptance rates for those places...I'm sure your actual talent plays a very large role which I and most ppl cannot evaluate. Retaking will definitely help as Hampshire has a pretty high median SAT. Good luck!

Haha, I didn't even realize I didn't post my name. It's Carrie-Lynne, and thank you for replying. :] Emerson was my number one school. <3

lol no I wasn't really asking for your personal name...that may be a little invasive for some people. I was just wondering why your s/n is fetus. Does your art involve fetuses (painting?).

Since Emerson is your first choice:

Acceptance Rate: 45%
Avg SAT: Verbal 590-670 Math 560-650

So basically your verbal is just within the middle 50% and math is below. I would shoot for 650 on both sections and I'd recommend the Blue Book for the SAT.

Oh, duh, haha yes, I'm in love with fetuses. I know, it's weird.
Most of my art does feature them, even my website.

you should consider the school of the art institute of chicago. though it's pretty expensive and the scholarship race is uber-competitive.

You should also consider Art Center College of Design. It's a brilliant, creative art school, and very career-oriented.
