Class Rank: 1/56
Best student of 11th grade award
10th grade: 94.6%
11th grade:89%
12th grade mid year:80%(strict corrections)</p>

<p>CR: 590
MATH: 740
WRITING: 650</p>

<p>EC's:
Attended an internship in a technical plant
Participated and won in inter school quiz competitions
Currently hold a 6th grade certificate in solo piano from the Trinity College of London
Member of the ecology club and quiz club in my school
Done a community service of 100 hours
Played soccer in school level</p>

<p>I am from India where courses are rigorous.
Can I get into the following universities?</p>

<p>Purdue: EA
Gerogia Tech: RD
UIUC: RD
Penn State: RD
Texas A&M: RD</p>

<p>Thanks for replying! The only thing I am afraid of is that my cr+math is only 1330, which means that I am at the bottom 25% of applicants for UIUC engineering. Does that mean that I will be deferred?</p>

From what i know, you are pretty good for Penn state.
Georgia Tech - hmm their SAT 25th percentile this year was 2020. So don’t get you hopes up (sorry).
UIUC - there average SAT for engineering was also in 1440s so that might pose a problem but your rank should do just fine.
Purdue - pretty good chance (SAT w.r.t purdue is good).</p>

<p>My advise is give the december SAT once again and then apply. your chance at all these colleges is good if you raise your sat to a 2050 atleast.
Give SAT 2 also.</p>

<p>I have also taken the ACT and waiting for the result, but I don’t expect more than 30. I am also taking the SAT 1 on December. I hope that I will get good scores. Anyone else, please?</p>
