Chances for an international

Could you please chance me for MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton and UPenn(Wharton or M&T)?

SAT I: CR 640, Math 720, WR 650 (essay 6)

SAT II: Math II 770, Physics 790, French 680

Full IB diploma with 4 HL subjects, predicted probably 44/45, all 7s at HL

High school: IB World School with competitive entry, our graduating classes have had average scores of 36-37 points. No one usually goes to the US, but each year at least one goes to top UK unis, (Oxford, Cambridge etc).

Rank: School doesn't really rank, but I guess I would be 1/~40.

EC:
- In the board of 8 people of the student union for all IB students in Finland and in charge of organizing an overnight ToK seminar cruise for ~400 people. Board members are elected and I've been in the board from 2006 onwards.
- Representative student of my class
- "Advocate" for my school for middle schools around the area
- Member of a political party

Sex: M
Ethnicity: White
Country: Finland
Legacy: No
Financial Aid: Yes, but not applying for it at UPenn

No awards, there are very few competitions and no NHS or anything like that here in Finland.

Going to retake the SAT I and the SAT II French, but should I also retake Math and/or Physics? I'm really frustrated with the Physics score, Kaplan's prep book predicted me a clear 800.

From what i see from your SAT they're all super high reaches. You should really try for some liberal art colleges too, your SAT I is way too low for ivies.
What are your Extracurricular activities?

Sorry, I accidentally posted before I was ready and while I was finishing my post you asked that. Anyways the ECs are now there as well. Except that I forgot to mention a one month work experience at my home town university housing, this was before my junior year. I also had a 1 week internship at a large bank in 9th grade, although I doubt that I will put that on my application.

I know my SAT I is low for ivies, but I'm retaking it, although I doubt I will do much better. Math was 720 due to three stupid mistakes, so I should be able to make that an 800. CR I can probably improve to around 660-670, but as I am full Finnish I doubt I will get better than that. Writing should be good as my MC subscore was 71, so by improving the essay to a 9, I'll already be getting over 700. So maxxing out my SATs would probably be between 2150-2200 (now 2010).

I'm not really that interested in anything less than Ivy or equivalent in the US, especially if the college does not have need-blind admission for internationals. Are there any IB-friendly colleges that could give me aid if I applied for it?

Oh and btw, there are really not a lot of people who apply from Finland to the US, as our universities are tuition-free. There is only one place to take the SATs, and when I took the SAT Subject tests in June, there were only 5 more people in the exam room in addition to me. So I'm guessing there's going to be around 10 people applying and maybe 5-6 going for the top colleges. Does that make my geographic location a hook?

For Ivies, it's not a huge hook. Good luck, but if you don't get your SAT I at 2200 you have almost no chance (I hate to sound bleak, but ivies look for really strong EC's mixed with a great SAT).

Have you thought about applying to Cornell and Darth? They are ivies, but not as widely known as HYPSM. I would advise you to consider not applying to MIT and Harvard, because they are the hardest to get into with your scores. Harvard is an extreme crapshoot for everyone because everyone applies there, and you really need a score about 2250+ with those EC's ( not saying they're bad, only saying they're weak for the ivies). I think you need a 750+ in math SAT I and II to have a shot at MIT.

Best of luck to you, I think you would have the best chance at U Penn and Cornell.
