Chances for an intl' student with HIGH financial need?

Hello.

I'm an international student for El Salvador seeking to study at Connecticut College.

However, I do not know how generous is Conn College with financial aid. I don't know if there are international students with good financial aid packages. My need is VERY high (I would need at least $50k) and I don't know if I should try my chances for admission or if I'm obviously going to be rejected.

A brief summary of my stats:

GPA: 3.85
Rank: 3/64
SAT: 2090 (690 CR, 750 M, 650 W)

I got the IB Diploma, and I was the second highest score of my class.

Country: El Salvador. I am an hispanic.

Hey,

I actually want to know about this too.

However, I hope you realize that your ethnicity does not matter in admissions because colleges want to improve AMERICAN diversity. You would be counted with the % of international students.

From what a Connecticut student told me, financial aid is not a problem since they meet full aid. So good luck!

I think they only promise to meet full aid for US students.

I am an international student as well with similar statistics from Bangladesh who’d a similar fin aid of 50k as well and would like to know if Connecticut College is generous. Someone please reply. Thank you! :)

Me too! Need a full package as an international student.

Question, though. Did you send the CSS report, or did you e-mail the International Student FA Application? Because I mistakenly sent in the CSS, now I’m wondering whether to submit the ISFAA too.
