<p>Community Service:
*I've been volunteering with Alzheimer's patients since the summer before freshman year and I absolutely love it.. has inspired me to study neuroscience in college.
*I'm in charge of organizing the district's tutoring program.. responsible for contacting the 5 district elementary schools, recruiting and assigning tutors, etc.
*Organized a school-wide charity event last year.. collected school and hygiene items for Children of the Nations organization, "smilepacks" sent to destitute children in Africa
*Various other events.. flautist for a few groups, walks, school events, sunday school teacher, tutor, etc.</p>
<p>Activities:
Marching Band (and concert band)- 7-12, Woodwinds section leader, Voted Best Marcher, Band placed in top three out of nine states 5/6 times, 5x chapter champions :)
