Chances for an out-of-state applicant?

<p>GPA: 3.9 unweighted, 4.2 weighted
SAT I: 2070 (720 Writing, 680 Math, 670 Reading)
SAT II: Math 2 - 710, Bio E - 690, US History - 640
ACT: 32</p>

<p>I'm president of my school's Interact Club, I've been in Link Crew for two years, I have more than 200 hours of community service, I've had 3 jobs, I'm on the JV tennis team, I'm in National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. I've received awards for piano as well as drawing and graphic design.</p>

<p>I've taken and passed 6 AP courses and I'm currently enrolled in 6 more AP courses.</p>

<p>As far as ranking goes, I'm third in my class of 450.</p>

<p>The thing is, I'm from Colorado so I'm not sure how it's going to affect my admission.</p>

<p>I got into UCI from NJ with slightly lower scores than you. You should be fine, just be sure to write a kickass essay! The only thing that may off your chances is the major you are applying to get into…</p>

<p>I think you’re definitely in. I got in (and am currently attending) as an OOS applicant with a 3.8 weighted GPA and 33 ACT. My community service/extracurriculars were slightly worse than yours too.</p>
