Hey can someone please tell me whether I have a good chance of getting into any of these schools- Choate Andover Middlesex Taft? ( Ik andover is a stretch) here are my stats
SSAT:
Quantitive 85th percentile
Verbal 95th percentile
Reading 80th percentile
Overall 91st percentile
Grades:
Honors English A
Honors Algebra A
Social Studies A
Science A
French A
Sports:
Lacrosse- 6 years, A travel top town team in country, also A for top club team in country, I play year round very dedicated
Field hockey- 2 years, A team for a top town in country, #2 team for a top club team in country, play year round also very dedicated
Squah- only played for a couple months but planning on playing at BS
Extracurriculars:
Theatre- 4 productions, lead role in almost all
Choir- school choir and select choir in school
Voice- voice lessons for past few months very passionate about singing
Community service: once per week at a soup kitchen
Youth group/ religion class- once per week
Interviews:
Choate- spent an hour talking with interviewer, we connected over our favorite authors and she said the science research project would be perfect for me. She said I am the “perfect candidate for Choate” and she “hopes to see me next fall” also said I am just like the dean so I believe the interview went fabulously unless everyone has an interview like that
All my other interviews are schedule for next two weeks

Selective class for “special” intelectually curious class- amazing, I guess bcuz the teacher said I’m her favorite student
So do I have a shot?! please be honest
Why do you think Andover is a stretch? Do you need FA?
Yes- AO’s say things like that all the time. Remember: All applicants are being wooed so they feel encouraged to apply. You’ve earned those compliments but remember to keep what AO’s say in proper perspective … and feel good about it! It’s not easy to put yourself out there and interview at a BS.
No I don’t need FA but I’m afraid with my somewhat disappointing 91st percentile for ssats will make it a stretch
