Your “A-G” GPA needs to be at least a 3.0 to even qualify to apply.

I don’t get how ur Weighted GPA is so diff from ur A-G gpa. Shouldn’t all your weighted classes be in the A-G list. Hopefully you didn’t count freshmen year in both GPAs.

oh i guess, i did count freshman year in my weighted gpa. damn. If I got a 4.0 first semester this year, would it raise my a-g gpa?

What were your classes and grades for sophomore and junior year? I can calculate your UC GPA for you if you want.

no senior grades dont factor in ur UC GPA. However, if you do well ur senior year, maybe you might be accepted to the low-tier UC. Retake the SATs too, so it looks better.

if your recalculated a-g gpa for 10 and 11 is above a 3.0 then you should get into merced and riverside. but without your known gpa i couldnt give you a true estimate on which ucs youd get into.

please chance me back anyone.

alright thanks, here’s my grades and classes for sophmore and junior year
Honors English 2- B,C
Alg. 2/Trig- C,C
French 3-B,A
Honors World History-A,B
Chemistry-B,C
Athletics(PE)-A,A
Junior Year
CP English 3-B,A
Pre.Calc Honors-D,D(Super hard class)
AP Bio-D,C (Also difficult for me)
AP French 4-C,C
AP US History-C,B
Athletics-A,A
Alright, thanks man.

You got 3 D’s. I don’t think you’re eligible for UC’s.

Yea :(. You could try retaking the class now in CC or in high school :(. How did you get 2 C’s in Alg. 2/Trig and be able to go to Precalc Honors o.o?

If I counted correctly,

3 A’s = 12
6 B’s = 18
8 C’s = 16
3 D’s = 3

Total grade points = 49+ 8 bonus points = 57. Divide by 20 semesters yields a 2.85 gpa, which means that you must repeat the D’s to become eligible. And, I think senior year is too late.

Good luck.

so, even if i bumped my sat up to 2000 and i got a 4.0 this semester, i still couldn’t apply?

You could also qualify by Examination Alone, but that requires an average of 690+ on all five tests.
