I noted there was no personal essay so I dont know if the above will be a factor

I am an Iranian born in 'merica if it helps at all. I marked asian on the app and specified other.

AYYY. I’m iranian too! I would say you have a chance, but make sure your essay ares amazing. It’s good to know you have a great work ethic, just really show that on your apps. 1050/2400?
chance back please.

salam my friend yeah I just got confirmation that theres not essay required its strictly if you are in the top 25% of your class 3.0 gpa or 1050 sat score you are guarunteed admission otherwise you are induvidually reviewed. Are you looking to apply too? do you speak farsi?

Ay brody I’m persian too! That is sexy that your school offers Farsi. I would strongly advise you remove the asian mark on your essay. Not only are you providing false information, you aren’t helping yourself. Seriously if you’re going to lie, say you’re hispanic or something lol. You need to mark the White box. I know it’s painful I hate it myself.

Hopefully you don’t need to tell them about criminal records or that’ll really bite you in the ass. I think you have a decent shot, Arizona only denies 1 out of 10 people. But I really hope you can break that SAT score, it isn’t much and you should be able to handle it. If you didn’t beat the score, I’d strongly advise holding your application until you could take the test again. A little bit of studying will put you past it.

Good luck man!

Kheyli mamnon! well farsi is actually offered at the community college not HS but I was able to mark more than one race so I marked Asian and the drop down box came up with bunch of asian countries and I selected the box other I than marked White the drop down box said American or Asian, I marked asian for some reason I was able to make two races with no error !?! Technically the middle east is considred Asian from looking on the map but the being iranian is not considered a minority you are classified as caucasian some people have said!?! On a side note have you seen the Iranian movie A Separation just saw it today it was great! I dont have a rap sheet lol I just had a reckless driving months ago and had a bunch of community service ;(.

Fair enough, well it was my first language but I’m illiterate lol. Well the thing is they don’t consider the geographical area, they look at the blood. According to them, they are wrong with the exceptions of iranians, everyone in the middle-east is white. We are in-fact white, but in reality do we receive the same treatment as whites? Do people view us as white? Do we have a culture with whites? So yeah it sucks, hopefully in the future they’ll change that up. Regardless, being asian will not help you at all. You aren’t a minority being asian. You can be mixed so multiple races is possible.

I have not seen it, maybe I’ll check it out over the weekend. Good, traffic violations, unless you’ve caused injury, generally isn’t reported. So you’re fine with that, but seriously take it easy on the gas, speed racer.

Good luck man and my last advice to you is get your **** together. You should be doing a lot better than you are, no excuses. Just attending college isn’t enough, think about life after college. If you don’t hit at least 1600, I’d strongly advise you to study hard and take it again. When you want to transfer or apply for professional school, they still consider your sat. چیزهای کناری یا ثانوی
