your stats are much better than mine and i got waitlisted Cornell AEM... 1350/1980...28/822 rank 3.84 uw......you mite have a chance...but the program is quite small so theres a ton of cometition for it...but anyhow.........yeah i think you could move UMich up to the match column....i do however hope you have alotta money b/c outta state tuition for UMich is very pricey....many of my friends applied to state schools outside of ohio...and arent going b/c of money issues....

by the way, i think your shot at BU is higher...im attending there this fall...and their business program is def on the up and up...sooo good luck w/ your search...if you're this motivated rite now..you'll be fine...
personally im glad this process is over for me...extraordinarily painful...but exciting at the same time...good luck

you...are NOT average. I think its cruel and mean of you to say your an "average" student, whose taken over 6 APs and over a 2000 on the SAT. For that reason you get no "Chances" from me.

I really want to go to NYU Stern from the bottom of my heart. I love NYC. Let us hope from the bottom of our hearts that I'll be able to get into NYU Stern ED.... :D

Well I applied to many of yours schools, here's my take. (first a little background on me)

2180 (1440 old, 710 math :*( )
4.05w gpa, Top 5-6% at public uncompetitive school ( I didnt care for some reason, which I now regret)
6 APs, few honors, rising GPA each year.
Good essays, decent-subpar ECs
Good recs

Accepted BC (carrol school of management)
Rutgers Honors Program
Waitlisted: Stern (grades weren't all that strong, got lots of B+'s in APs, nearly all of em actually)
UMich LSA ( same thing with Stern, mich is big on grades, AND most importantly, I applied very late- Dec 31 :(

Rejected: Carnegie Mellon Tepper ( kinda weird, a kid who got flat rejected from Stern with better grades, 2080ish SATs from my school got in)
Cornell AEM ( obviously)

My recommendations: Apply ED if you are SURE you want NYU, visit ASAP, learn about the school, get the feel, not everyone is suited for the city and apply to UMich v early.

My opinion on chances:

BC- 65/35
Mich- 60/40
NYU (with ED)- 65/35, without ED- 45/55
CMU (ea)- 50/50, RD- 40/60

friend, perhaps these people haven't anymore comments. I think you have a good shot at UVA. It is a lovely school, my first choice when I apply.
