I don't know why you're asking for NYU.

NYU is a reach school for you.

Let's get your SAT and rank up.

Ahh, I forgot to change it; sorry.

I think you'd get into CGS and that's about it.

Thank you for your response

I just checked out high school web site that lists admissions/rejections by SAT and GPA. I would say that, although you are a bit below the median kid accepted, you have a better than 60% chance of being admitted. I definitely saw kids with some scores and GPA below yours who got admitted to BU.

You have a good chance at BU.

I think you have a good chance at BU especially if you can bring up your SATs. You are taking a rigorous course load and that helps and it may also bring up your W GPA significantly. These two areas will increase your chances. If you went by your current stats it would be hard but your SATs should increase next time. Stick with your ECs as schools like to see "committment over time" so one year with 3 clubs is not as good as three yrs with one club. Good luck.

Thanks so much for everyone's replies!

I totally blew past that line saying you were a junior--you'll definitely raise your SAT enough for any BU school.

umm u might also wanna correct your SAT score because that adds up to 1880, not 1870...

Ali, I meant to say I got an 1880 but I got my math mixed up. Perhaps I don't deserve to go to BU, hah.
