I would like to major in chemistry, biochem, or bio in hopes of doing research at a pharmaceutical. What would be my chances for those majors at the following schools. Since science is so competitive would I be better off applying then becoming a science major? Also would I get any scholarship if I would be admitted?

i hate u
ur way above average...
Ur not amazing
But you shouldnt say ur average.

agreed. what a *****.

You call that average?

Look at Sewanee-The University of the South.
Although, somewhat desolate, the school is great for biology (they have the Carnegie Prof. of the Year in biology from 2003) and has a 10,000 acre campus which serves as a great laboratory for any kind of environmental science.
Your SAT is right at the 75th percentile there, and you could probably get around 10k a year to go there. That makes the bottom line price around 27k. Not bad for a top 30 liberal arts college.

thanks for help, i just see so many ivy hopefuls that i thought it as average for this site. I would appreciate any input on the colleges i listed as well thanks.

bump..anyone suggestions/thoughts

You aren't average! Great stats.

I think you can get into every single one of them, and try and look for a few reaches to strive for.
