Schools:

Boston University (College of General studies)
Northeastern
American University
George Washington University
Univ. of Colorado boulder
University of Minn. Twin cities
Drexel
San Diego State

P.S. How would it effect my education if I went to the general studies program in BU instead of Business which is what I would go into if I had any chance of getting into it.

Boston University- Decent match. I think your SAT's are probably fine for BU, but your GPA could end up getting you rejected.

Northeastern- Pretty good match. Althought the GPA hurt, you've got somewhat above the average SAT which could definitely help.

American University- Probably rejected because of your GPA. Somewhat similar chances as BU.

George Washington University- You've got slightly above the average SAT at GWU, but I think your GPA will keep you out.

Univ. of Colorado- Very good chance of getting in

University of Minn. Twin cities- See Colorado

Drexel- Decent chance of getting in

San Diego State- Definitely in

About business schools, I don't think you'll get into any of them as a direct admit because of your GPA, but you can always enter after sophmore year. UMN I think is 14th in the nation which is great.

No, I love not giving 4.0 students opinions.

It's just that I don't know much about any of these schools other than Minnesota. And I know that as an OOS applicant, you're going to need around a 3.3 to get in. And their business is even more competitive, it's a top 10 business school for undergraduate study.

I don't think it's logical saying you have a very good chance of getting in, because your GPA, the most important factor in admissions, is lower than nearly all other applicants you're competing against.
