chances for ba/md program

Hi, I just finished my junior year and am very apprehensive about my choices of colleges. GW is definitely one of the top choices especially because it has the accelerated program.

To tell u more about me, I am an immigrant from India and attend a all girls catholic school. My gpa is a 4.0 out of 4.0 and I have a 97% overall average. I am ranked the first in my class as well.
My SATs were not to great: 1490/2100. My SATIIs were ok. Bio 700, US Hitory 660, and Chem 680. I took 3 APs this year, BIO, US HISTORY, and English Language and Comp. Next year Ill be taking AP Calc, AP Lit, AP French, Anatomy and Physiology honors, Physics honors, etc, etc. Basically I have been taking a rigorous work load, however, unlike other schools, Theology is a mandatory course for all 4 years, therefore I have been unable to take a better/scientific course load.

I also took 2 college courses, Anatomy and Physiology and Statistics, and will be taking another this summer, Psychology. I took a course at Brown last year and will be taking a course at Tufts in medicine this year. I will also be attending the NYLF for medicine.

I have good ecs

do you think I have a shot? What can I do to improve my chances. I look forward to hearing from you all soon

Bumping up your SAT scores will help. You will need to report an SAT II in math to apply for the GW program. I know that you need to display your passion for medicine and being a doctor in the interview should you go onto the interview round.

I got accepted into the ba/md program for this fall and here are my stats. I hope they will help you.

SAT: 2230 (1490)
SAT II's: 750 Bio M, 790 Math IIC, 750 Chem (after honors chem), 760 USH

my EC's were similar to yours except instead of your chorus and orchestra, i did band for 2 years and did varsity sports three seasons a year.

Make sure your med school essay as well as you possibly can. I think that was what really helped me

Thank you for your responses. So basically what I need to do to get in is to raise my SAT scores and keep up my ecs as well as show passion. I will study harder for my SATs and hopefully get that darned writing section up. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can do that?
I will also be retaking my SATIIs Math II, Chem, and Bio (should I retake?), or maybe French. Please do advise to what I can do. Thank you once again! :)
