Chances for Barnard please? :)

<p>Hi guys! What would you say my chances of getting into Barnard would be? I know it's definitely a reach for me, but thanks so much for any advice :)</p>

<p>OOS White female from NJ
SAT: 690 CR, 700 Math, 730 Writing (1390/2110)
SAT Subject Tests: 630 Italian, 690 Literature, 720 US History
APs: English Lang & Comp Jr Year (5 on exam); US History Jr Year (5 on exam); Psychology and Art History Sr Year
College Level Classes: English Composition 1 Honors and Calculus Honors
Multiple honors classes in every year in all subjects
Currently in Italian 6 Honors
GPA: 4.1 on a 4.0 weighted scale (lowest final grade was one B, only about four B+'s, the rest were A-'s or above)
Competitive public high school; does not rank
Have been on a competitive dance team most of my life
Captain of the dance team at school
Also involved in Italian Club and Class Council
Helped get school newspaper on newsprint for the first time freshman year
Spent 12 days in Italy summer of '09
Did a 12 day summer program at Columbia University summer of '08
Tutored a girl in Italian through Italian Honor Society sophomore year; volunteered at the Zimmerli Art Museum junior year
Held a job at Rita's Italian Ice this past April-October
Rec letters will be from my pre-calc teacher, Italian teacher, and guidance counselor
Hoping to major in European Studies, Art History, Italian, or Psychology</p>

<p>You look like you have a good shot…with the exception of your Italian SAT score. Do you think maybe you could retake that? The only reason is because it looks like the Italian language is a huge part of your life, so the less than stellar score on the SAT II makes it seem less extraordinary. But…with the right essays it might not matter. :)</p>

<p>Thanks! I might consider doing that, the only thing is that it’s only offered in December. I didn’t prepare enough for it last time, and I definitely should have done better. Thanks for the advice and good luck to you too!</p>

<p>Barnard only wants two subject tests so I’m assuming they’ll just look at your two highest scores. You look like you’re in good shape! Good luck, and maybe I’ll see you there, too :D.</p>
