Chances for Barnard RD?

<p>So, I really like the school, but I can't go unless I get some good financial aid (</3), which is why I'm not applying ED.</p>

<p>STATS:</p>

<p>GPA: around 3.8-3.9 unweighted and 4.15 weighted</p>

<p>SAT I: 2250 (CR 720, Math 750, Writing 780) I also might retake it in the fall
SAT II: Haven't taken them yet...
I also may take the ACTs with writing.</p>

<p>Junior Year Schedule:
French 4 Honors: A-
AP Physics AB: B+
AP Calculus AB: A-
AP English Lang: A
Honors Social Studies:A
Living Independently (I signed up for Psych and Sociology but they didn't fit so I got stuck with this random FCS course): A

AP Stat, AP Lit, AP Macro, AP Bio, Psychology, PEN (Gifted course), Choir
**My school has block scheduling, so I don't think we are able to take as many AP courses as other students? At least I can't with Choir in my schedule</p>

During the summers before 11th and 12th grade I was in two different community theater musicals
I have been an acolyte at my church since the sixth grade, plus I volunteer there for different community service events
I was a CIT at a summer camp in 9th grade
I have been working a part time job since the beginning of my junior year; quit my old one and got a new one this past August
In 9th grade I received an award for having one of the top 10 GPAs in my class</p>

<p>I also consider myself to be a strong writer, so I am hoping that my essays will carry me a little bit. I also think I am going to get pretty good teacher/counselor recommendations.</p>
