<p>What are my chances at Barnard (first choice) , bryn mawr, wellesley, nyu, GW? And are schools like columbia or cornell so far out of range i shouldn't bother trying?
SAT:
math- 690
verbal- 650
writing- 640</p>

<p>sat II's
u.s. hist- 710
math 1- 600 (retaking this, i can do better)</p>

<p>ranked 10th out of 226 (top 4%)
3.8 GPA</p>

<p>one sport, various clubs, national honor society, world language honor soceity, 200 volunteer hours</p>

<p>5 AP's and 4 years of all honors classes</p>

<p>minority group: hispanic</p>

<p>I say you got a great chance at most of those schools. Just try to raise your SAT to at least solid 700's+.</p>

<p>All the women's colleges you're looking at recruit very heavily for diversity (esp Wellesley). With that in your favor, you've got excellent chances!!</p>
