<p>My buddy is worried that because he only has grades in 3/5 of the pre-reqs, he is in trouble. And he couldn’t take D.E. this spring.</p>

<p>Hey I told him he’s in. But I was wondering if any other math majors could shed some light on the situation. It is Cal after all.</p>
<p>I think he will get in. When I talked with UCB representative, she told me that applicants are fine if they have taken more than ~~80% of the prerequisite classes. Also, I think that mathematics isn’t an impacted major. </p>

@Supa_ramga: did you say that your friend is gonna have only 3/5 of the prereqs by the end of this Spring? If yes, then i’m not so sure about his chance. Sorry, I’m not trying to be mean but it’s Cal after all…</p>

<p>first of all, Linear algebra and D.E. in Berkeley is only one single class. Also, unlike IGETC you are allowed to complete major pre reqs during the summer term so your friend will be okay</p>

<p>well yeah. i dont think i necessarily have a “damaged ego” especially since i am the only way thinking that im going to get rejected from UCLA. if my ego was damaged, i would be thinking that i am going to get into UCLA and that everyone else who said i wasn’t was wrong.</p>
