chances for biomed engineering grad school

So here's my story. I currently just finished my junior year at the University of Miami in biomedical engineering. I know Miami isn't a great engineering school (I got into much better ones: UVa, UMichigan, Carnegie Mellon, Vanderbilt etc...) but I'm on full scholarship here and I couldn't pass that up.

Here are my stats:
-GPA: 3.92
-GRE: I'm taking this in June and am aiming for a 750+ in Quant and realistically around a 550 for verbal, I suck at vocab...

Research
-One REU program at the University of Akron Department Polymer Engineering (got a great rec out of that)
-A year's worth of research with a professor at Umiami, two publications
-This summer I'll be at the University of Southern California doing research in the biomedical engineering department

I really want to aim for top tier Biomedical/Bioengineering schools for grad school. Right now I'm looking at Stanford, USC, UCSD, Case Western, UCBerkely, Vanderbilt. WashUStL and schools along those lines.

My two main concerns are A. It's impossible to get into California schools if you are out of state (I'm hoping to get a rec from my professor at USC which may help) and B. I'm not coming from the most prestigious undergrad program.

Any comments or advice would be much appreciate! Thanks!

well first of all USC is NOT a public school so you issue with being out of state dosent apply here. you have a phenomenonal gpa for an engineering major. isnt the average GPA like a 3.0? and you have a 3.92.

thrid, this is the wrong forum to post on. you will not get the answers you want. this is mainly for HS kids who want chances to college
