<p>My chances, African American male:</p>

<p>GPA: 2.75 (ranked just inside top 50%)
SAT: 1230(630M, 600V)
SAT2s: Lit-550, Math1c-640, Writing-600
APs: Writing-3</p>

<p>Taken 5 Honors classes and this year taking 2 APs (Stats and Econ).</p>

<p>ECs: Founder/ Pres. Young Democrats Club
World Politics Club
Jv tennis</p>

<p>Chances at: Northeastern
Loyola- Chicago and New Orleans
Tulane
Purdue
Temple
Oregon state
Suggest any others that you think would be good for me.</p>

<p>I think your chances are good at the schools you mentioned. You may even try to aim a little higher. Your GPA is low, which is a concern. Is 2.75 your unweighted or weighted GPA? You have leadership given that you founded and lead the Young Democrats club. If you could play up on that well, like I said, you may want to try some higher tiered schools. Have you considered Morehouse, North Carolina A&T or Hampton?</p>

<p>your GPA is what will hurt ya at the schools you've mentioned. i still think all schools are definite possibilities, though, except tulane, which has stats that are a bit higher than your's. but still, go for it. you're SAT IIs are solid and should help you out a bit.</p>
