Chances for BME?

I applied for the priority deadline and I'm super nervous that I won't get that acceptance letter come December 17th (I'm not even going to check the online status until the next week for fear that I might throw up from nervousness...). Anyway, I am OOS and here are my stats:

GPA: UW 3.84 (we don't get weighted ones)
Class Rank: 34/416 (top 10%)
SAT: 800 R, 800 M, 720 W (2320 Composite)
IB Diploma Candidate; 12 IB classes (6 last year and 6 this year)
HL's in Math, English and Biology
Took at least one year of every science
EC's: Founding member of student-run non-profit called WSMA (vp of events team), NHS, Swim Team four years, Philosophy Club (vp), Classical Indian dance four years, Novel Society (webmaster), DECA Area first place and state qualifier, National Merit Semi-Finalist, paid math tutor for the past four years (volunteered at community college this summer)

That's about all I can think of...Also, if I don't get admitted to BME, can I still get admitted to the college with no major? And if I get accepted, should the letter arrive on Dec. 17th or will it arrive before/after?

Also, my grade trend has a sudden downward curve, mostly due to those super-tough IB classes in junior year (though I still got A/A- in my Bio and Calc classes).

BME is the hardest engineering program to get into.Almost all who do are in top 5% of class and and 33 and higher ACT (your SAT is above that level). Your GPA/rank is low for BME so consider it a reach. However, all who apply BME and not accepted are considered for a second engineering choice (which you are requested to designate on app). For any other engineering program you have a very good chance of admission.

Priority deadline decisions are issued Dec 17 on-line (and also mailed but that will arrive after). You can get one of four decisions, admit to requested program, admit to different program, deny, or defer to final decisions in Feb. Note that a large number of engineering applicants are usually deferred to final decision in Feb and deferal does not mean death (majority deferred are usually admitted in Feb).
