I go to a tiny, rural, poor high school with VERY few APs and honors classes, but I've generally taken the hardest course loads. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Boston College average stats:

Average SAT scores 25% level/75% level for CR + M: 1240 to 1410.(average around 1330)
Average UW GPA is around 3.63 to 3.68, W around 3.8 to 3.9

Your scores:3.83 GPA (I presume UW if you are 1st in your class)
If you didn't take many tough courses--probably a 3.9 W GPA--and like you said--this was toughest possible at your school
Your ACT score of 29 equates to a SAT CR+W of 1280 to 1310 (around 1295)
You were student body president and senior class president--so that really works in your favor

I'd call you a match for Boston College.

Good luck.

I've taken one AP, two honors courses, and am currently taking another AP. Sad but true - this constitutes a hard work load at my school!
One other thing - one of my relatives showed me around campus informally, but I didn't do a tour or an info session. Will that count against me at all?
