I really dont' think I have a shot, but still chance me!

You have a very solid chance from what I think.
A friend of mine got accepted about 2 weeks ago, with similar numbers.
Given that you're first generation, that might put you over the top. I think you have a good chance there. Good luck.

Thanks. This is one of my realistic private schools that I'm applying to, so hopefully I get in. I just think my SAT reasoning and SAT subject scores are kind of low, and of course average ECs, which might hurt.

I disagree. Alot of colleges don't frown on unbalanced scores. The magic number for most competetive colleges is 600. As long as you have atleast 600 on your weaker section you should be ok, which you do have. A 1370/1600 is an outstanding score and definately competetive at BC. Your ECs may be a little weak but if you did those same ECs for a long time, that can be a good thing. Admission Offices love dedication. Good luck!

I have been doing piano and martial arts for all four years of high school, though I haven't won any competition or awards in them. For piano, I only do the Certificate of Merit program, which is popular in California.

I hope my 740 in CR and writing will balance out the math, since obviously you can tell that math is just not my subject! I got below 700 in both SATs for math. :(

yea i go there and I have talked to a lot of the class of 2010 about their stats..I also have the last four years of admission from my high school to go on.. my experience is that being asian can actually help admission at BC, because we are just desperate for any sort of diversity.
