<p>Hello everyone, I'm currently between Junior and Senior year and have recently visited all of the colleges above (Boston University, University of Illinois Urbana, University of Wisconsin Madison, UMD college park, and Northeastern University) and absolutely loved them. Any critique would help.</p>

<p>I plan on majoring in Journalism
I live in the state of Illinois</p>

Best composite from a single test: 33
Superscore: 34</p>

<p>I have taken weighted and ap courses all 4 years of high school, never letting the amount of honors coursework fall below two weighted classes a semester.</p>

<p>My gpa is on a steady incline</p>

<p>EC:
I am a manager for a pacemaker and Columbia gold crown winning school newspaper and head of a Columbia silver crown winning website.
I am a varsity pole vaulter and have been on track for all four years
I have been on my school's speech team for four years and a manager for one of those.
I volunteer as a counselor on a retreat run by a local nonprofit youth and family service organization, and I plan to write my essay on this
I am in the quill and scroll journalism honors society
I work a job as a waiter year round
I've been on second honors role each year
I am a freshman mentor, meaning I lead a class twice a week for freshman new to the school</p>

<p>I understand that my biggest weakness is my gpa.</p>

<p>U of I and Northeastern are targets, BU is a safety, I’m not sure about UMD or UW. Northeastern superscores and weights GPAs which is nice. <p>Your GPA isn’t spectacular, but you should get into U of I. </p>

<p>Speaking of journalism, I just received the U of I’s alumni magazine, and this month they featured a story on Will Leitch. </p>

<p>Good luck with your decision. Northwestern is a good school too, so you can’t go wrong with either choice.</p>
