I am a white male from California. I will have two varsity letters in soccer, about 100 hours of community service, a bit of work experience through refereeing and will have been enrolled in nine AP classes by the time I graduate. I also am taking my 5th year of Spanish this year. Since eighth grade I've taken Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. I have been told that looks good so I figured I'd add it.
9-12 Academic Unweighted GPA: 3.68
9-12 Academic Weighted GPA: 3.91
10-12 Academic Unweighted GPA: 3.71
10-12 Academic Weighted GPA: 4.04
ACT: 30
My high school does not rank.
Thank you so much!
I had already posted in a BU thread but no one had responded so I figured I'd try again.

You definitely will get into BU with those stats, could possibly get a merit scholarship as well. My daughter got into both, with a nice merit scholarship offered at BU. Her ACT was a 31, but her GPA was a little higher than yours. Although yours is still awesome! You could likely get into BC, although that might be a tad bit more of a reach. Being from the West Coast might help. Good luck. They are both awesome schools

Thanks that is awesome to hear! Did she go to BU? If so does she like it and if not why did she turn it down? I am interested in trying something new as I’ve lived in SoCal my entire life and I hear Boston is an amazing place to live.

might look at Holy Cross-1 hour from Boston. HC is a smaller version of BC both are Catholic schools. Imo, Holy Cross is more liberal and better alumni network for jobs. Holy Cross is also need-blind for admissions-meets 100% demonstrated financial need.

Boston College is about as small as I am willing to go. Holy Cross is less than a thousand students larger than my high school and I am looking for a bigger school. Thanks for the suggestion
