I'm a senior in high school right now and I just wanted to know what my chances would be for Boston University.

GPA: 3.67 unweighted, 3.92 weighted
SAT: 1770, 1820 super scored
Math:610
Critical reading: 600
Writing: 560
ACT: 25
Extracurriculars: marching for all 4 years of high school. We were gold medalists twice and silver medalists once. I was the section leader for the euphonium section junior year and the brass captain my senior year. I volunteered at the hospital for over 200 hours.

Your GPA is good for their school, but your SAT score is a bit below their average (around 2000)! But the 200 hours of volunteering will DEFINITELY stand out and ‘marching’ seems unique, noone I know in High School does marching! Good luck, I’d give you a 50% chance with my standards only because they have a relatively low acceptance rate!

can anyone tell me whether it is easier for internationals to get in ?
regardless , i am from pakistan
sat - 1670
gpa 3.2 unweighted
Eca’s : school soccer team ( a few international tours),
ran a student run credit card system
school rowing team
420 hours of community service
could anyone advise me on what should i expect ?
Thanks
@Ironpopcorn I say high match if only because of your subpar SAT score. Otherwise you would be pretty competitive considering your volunteer work and your decent GPA
@musti786 I don’t really believe it is easier for internationals at all and based on your stats it would be hard even though your EC’s are great
